Apparentley, yes, smoking can supress hunger, because if you choose to have a cigarette instead of something to eat it takes your mind off being hungry.
although if I smoke when I am hungry it tends to make me retch and feel sick.

No! Smokers do not deserve to be punished in anyway at all!!! WHY?? It is personal choice, Sure it harms your body...But dosen't everything now a days? Ridiculous.
