yes, salt is used in most produced foods as it not only preserves but inhances the natural flavours. It also makes you dehydrated and therefore more likely to cuy a drink with it.

I think some things are easier to pick up with experience: maybe that's relateed to age, ie: when you start a new job after doing a similar one, you'll pick up the day-to-day tasks easier than a first jobber.

Sometimes it actually puts me off depending on what celebrity it is. Personally I find this idea stupid as it's such a band wagon that everyone seems to jump on, specifically perfumes.
Young kids are more at risk of this. Slap Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens on a bottle of anti-freeze and they'll be guzling it down.
