There is also the famous World's End pub on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh... the site of a grizzly murder, IIRC. Nice atmosphere. :-)

You are an American, aren't you? Americans are the only people who specify that London is in England.
One of the funniest and most irritating thing I ever heard was from an American. I was just starting out on the walk up the Lost Valley in Glencoe, when I heard an American accent from the layby that sits under the 3 sisters. It proclaimed, "Oh my God , I heard a lamb bleat!"
What do you expect to hear in Glencoe? The thundering hooves of wildebeasts? The roar of the Bengal tiger? The ...whatever the noise that penguins make is... of a penguin?
Anyway, back to the question.
I haven't the foggiest idea. Sorry.

Toxicity:
As vitamin C is not stored appreciably in our body and excess amounts are eliminated rapidly, toxicity is unlikely. Overuse of vitamin C can result in Diarrhea, burning with urination, nausea, skin sensitivities etc. There is also some concern that high intake may cause kidney stones.
Warning from the FSA (Food Standards Agency)
Levels of vitamin C above 1000mg/day could cause abdominal pain and diarrhoea. These symptoms should disappear once people stop taking the supplements.
