Time is the effect caused by the expansion of the universe and as such has more or less the same affect on all existence.
Imagine a sealed room containing dozens of deflated balloons that have been knotted so that air can't get in or out. Now imagine using a vacuum to suck all the air out of the room creating a vacuum inside the room. Now as the pressure drops, the balloons will expand. Even though the balloons may be made of different materials and maybe expanding at different rates they are expanding at a constant rate relative to each other.
Think of the universe as a sealed room and all of existence as sealed balloons and bearing in mind the constant expansion of the cosmos time is related to the rate of growth of the universe.
So, in order to travel through time we would have to cause the entire universe to contract or expand, depending whether you are travelling backward or forward through time, at the same time maintaining the constant relationship between all existent matter. I think time travel would be a very difficult thing to achieve.
And they all lived happily ever after.....

Absolutely, and they have come to understand that emotions are simply waves of brain stuff.
It was waves of brain stuff that led to 32 students being gunned down recently. A buddhist would see that a, it was a pointless reaction and b, it was a consequence of waves of brain stuff.
Buddhists strive not to react to brain wave stuff. As well as other things, of course.
