This is a case where education is important. The issues are bigger than just the globe getting hotter. A lot of people believe that UK would actually benefit from global warming. Go figure. But you have to look at things as a whole.

TomYeo - Yes the climate has always been changing, no one disputes this. But it has changed so fast and it also wasn't really effecting us back then. The fact is we do have to adapt to the changes but we also have to find away to lesson the damage that we do. A big issue is fossil fuels. Give it 30-50 years we won't have much oil left so if we can come up with a new source of energy now we will better off.

cairina.moschata - In the 70s there were people worried about the earth cooling down, now they worry about it getting hotter. the wonderful thing about science is that it can change as we get more data. the problem is scientists are quiet people and although they all agree that we are responsible for climate change they are lost in the sea of loud debate.

Reactionary - Global heritage while a nice idea would be impractical if environmental factors took over.

Neko2 - Everyone blames the US and China, but if they keep following the path they are on they will screw themselves. By investing in new technologies now, we avoid the rising price of fuels that we have seen and will continue to see in the future. As oil becomes harder to find the price will go up. Let them pay for it. If you don't want to be a greeny think of the money that can be saved by alt fuel source and technological advances. My dad is just looking at buying hybrid car. Along with tax breaks and everything else (like london C-charge) it will double his mile per gallon. My parents have a solar panel on their house which means they pay hardly any gas bills the majority of the year.

Or In Alfred Hitchcock's Cludeo it is
a Bird - not sure how you kill somone with a bird
A knife - Well this is OK
A neck tie - Well that's like rope
a poker - again a fine choice
an oven - Now if someone is killed in other room but kitchen you have to ask some serious questions about thise being their choice
A bomb - Again it does the job, although I doubt it would be too hard to figure out what room in happened in.

Well there is a good reason why you can't make it out. That is because it changed. For the speacil edition it was re-record and they said something along the lines of

"Did you see the latest T16"
"Yeah that's pretty good"

A T16 is a space craft, Luke is playing with a model when C3P0 is having a bath...

Oh my god, what a nerd I am.

Supplement from 08/14/2006 09:40pm:

Alright, here it is word for word.

"You seen that new VT-16"

"Yeah, some of the other guys were telling me about, they say it's... quite the thing to see"

Ease the tone guys. You may well be right, but you don't know if the person (male/female) is the one with HIV (or indeed if anyone has HIV).

It is possible that person asking this question has just learnt their partner has HIV and is worried about whether they have caught it.

It is possible to go years without realising you have HIV, but an HIV test will show the virus sooner.
