If you as a child was to meet you at the age you are now, what would the child ' you' think about how he/she has turned out?
Apologies if asked before, the search facility fell over.
If the question doesn't make much sense I'll explain further.
In the Disney film 'The Kid' something odd happens and Bruce Willis' 10 year old self appears from the past. Bruce's character is wealthy but not a nice person and his 10 year old self reminds him of the qualities he has lost in becoming an adult.
So based on this, would they be embarrassed, pleased, disappointed etc?
What values/things close to you as a child have you forgotten/abandoned as an adult?
Is there a particular career you wanted but don't do?
Supplement from 10/19/2006 09:42am: Contrary to my only response so far, I think mine in the main, would be happy. He'd wonder what I did with his hair though...

One thing I know for sure, I’m not in that “disastrous” situation as Willis’s character in that film ))

| Hiheels answers: I think she would like me because I'm still fairly silly at times, but wouldn't patronise her.
She would be absolutely astonished and refuse to believe that I no longer had any interest in Top of the Pops before it was axed and that I couldn't tell you what the current number one single is.
She would be pleased that none of my pairs of jeans are dark denim. 3 years ago / reply

| dinkrist answers: She would not be much disapointed I think ! I still like reading children books (LOL) and playing sport games. And she would be pleased that she will get rid of longer hairs and tooth crampons some day... 3 years ago / reply

| sheps101 answers: I think I would be pleased as I really never changed so much. As a child I was quite serious so not much changed, I am just a bit more well rounded in my opinions, due to life experiance. 3 years ago / reply

| kit2kat answers: I think it would depend on when my 'kid' self met me, sometimes I am a little goofy and have a childish streak - we'd have a good laugh at everything and I think 'kid' me would love the person we'd become.
However if 'kid' me met me when I was in a more serious frame of mind, it would be more like - 'who is this person'.
Career wise, I always wanted to be a pilot when I grew up.
So here I am working in an office with computers.
As a kid, I always hated the mundane 9 to 5 job (so as an adult I got an 8 to 5 job instead lol).
If my 'kid self met me now, I would be slightly disappointed in who I became, I have become someone I am not, it's not for a man - I am not that stupid, but it was for my family.
I am also trying to change back slowly to the person I should have been, and I think 'kid' me would be proud of that. (I hope).
Overall I guess I would please that I am learning from my mistakes, so a combination of disappointed for who I am and proud for what I am trying to become. 3 years ago / reply
