Its best to give it a quick swirl first, as that reduces the gases a bit, have you feet shoulder width apart & with one leg slightly forward, this helps with balance. Have one hand near the top & your strongest arm about half way down the yard, that arm slightly bent at the elbow, that should help tilt it up quicker. Other than that, its just a case of practice, you should be able to get a yard glass from most places
