| mathpath answers: Nitrogen is the seventh element in the periodic table. The usual symbol for nitrogen used in chemical equations is
N2 where the 2 should be a subscript to mean that there are two atoms per molecule. I do not know how to write chemical or mathematical equations at this site. I hope one day Latex will be supported here. 3 years ago / reply
