jeannebaxter answers: See that he has a well-balanced diet including fruit & veg, in the form of juice if he doesn't like eating them.
Protein and milk are also necessary as well as carbohydrate (not white bread,corn flakes or too many cakes and biscuits) but whole grains-porridge, brown rice and pasta.
You can also add a child's vitamin supplement--ask your pharmacist for advice
