Don't ever post it to any website, blog, or other internet communication. Sounds rather difficult, doesn't it? The truth is that it is exceptionally hard to keep personal data off websearches once it has been put on the internet. This is why it is so important to NEVER give or put up personal contact information (physical addresses, phone numbers, etc.) on the web.

Also, remember that other people may put your name in things, such as identifying a photo, or in a company or organization press release that goes on a website, or simply sports scores from a game or match. Most web hosting sites have rules and regulations in their terms of service about invasion of privacy issues in any content that is uploaded to the internet using their product, but they can vary from site to site.

If you find personal and identifying information on a websearch or website that you want taken down, you want to first talk to the administrator of the website and ask them to remove the information - then go to the hosting service directly and file a complaint if nothing is done.

Recognize that many search engines have what are known as "cached" pages - wabpages that have been changed in the present, but are still in the their data information in their old format. This means that, even if the information is taken down, there is a chance it can still be seen if someone goes digging for it.

As a side note, you also never want to give out or share your password(s) with anyone to any computer profile or email, etc.
