cough mix: half empty

my outlook is that the glass is already broken - so i'll just keep hold of the bottle, ta.

My glass is always half full because I have drunk the other half and feeling alot better about life at that point.

Optimism is my middle name my mother had a real sense of humour!

Couldn't care less as long as it contains the same amount.

Half full is always much nicer, IMHO.

Half empty - "WHO'S BEEN DRINKING THIS??? IT'S MINE!!!"
Half full - "Wow, a whole half glass left! That's so lucky!"

Personally, I'd feel happier when saying the second of the two :-)

It might depend if someone is asking if you need a drink. I mean half empty is crying out for a refill after all.

I would be happier to just have the bottle. In the real world it doesn't matter if it is half full or half empty as it all goes down the same way anyway

If a glass is half full it indicates that the glass is being filled up where as if the glass is half empty then the glass is being emptied so i think i would preffer my glass to be half full.

Fully emptied, then half filled frequently!

At the moment my glass is completely empty. Hubby is watching football upstairs and doesn't know I'm gasping for a drink. Can't get it myself cos I've got my feet in my foot spa.

My glass is only half full for the split second it takes to drink a little more ;-)
