CGA answers:

I prefer Firefox. I am not particularly demanding although I do like it's inbuilt spell checker.

The main reason I use it is that it is a smaller (and, usually, more computer literate) user group so there tends to be fewer attacks written for it.

I prefer Firefox, mainly because it doesn't automatically support things that I don't want it to. It's also faster (try entering the Deal or No Deal competition online) and smaller.

However, I mostly use IE. That's for the simple reason that the big blue E at the bottom of my screen is so easy to get to, whereas I have to remember to use the little orange icon in my quicklaunch bar.

I *prefer* Firefox, but end up having to use IE a lot due to shoddily written websites. Now that IE7 is out, and has better standards support, we should find that those badly written sites begin to get re-written to break less.

In FF, I have the "Open link in IE" extension so that I can quickly get at such sites. I also have the "User Agent Switcher" that allows you to report that Firefox is something else (e.g. IE) which also works some of the time

I use Opera, predominantly. I also sometimes use Firefox, but never Intenet explorer. It's polish, as far as I'm concerned.

Firefox, because you can download add-on which (among other things) stop all of the annoying adverts that predominate most websites now.

I use Opera or Safari. The only reason being that I boycott Microsoft.
