The railway administration is obliged to:
1) to furnish necessary fittings into the railway cars for transportation of troops and horses;
2) arrange transportation for troops and the material;
3) set its personnel and supplies for use in construction and operating on the railways.

Aircraft and helicopters allow the infantry to deploy by air, as paratroopers and airmobile forces, to seize and hold vital objectives (e.g. bridges, key terrain), even if located in enemy-held territory. Aircraft also allow infantry to deploy quickly around the globe, to take part in military, peacekeeping or humanitarian missions;
Tracked and wheeled armoured fighting vehicles give the infantry the ability to move rapidly around the battlefield and fight while protected from small arms and fragmentation fire, such as artillery;
Amphibious landing craft and even hovercraft permit infantry to deploy by sea and to assault and hold targets in coastal areas.
