Do you trust anyone apart from yourself?
Just interseted to see how people trust any body else fully apart from oneself...could be any situation scenario, I do not trust any one apart from me, pretty sad in some ways but thats how I am, I believe that you can only rely on one person..yours truly.
Supplement from 09/29/2008 09:58am: I forgot to add that I of course trust my Fiancé, That goes without saying, Maybe I should of replaced 'trust' with 'rely'.

| seacommander answers: Excepting immediate family members the only person I have complete trust in is a very close friend of mine who I have known for over 15 years. She has demonstrated repeatedly that I can place absolute faith in her integrity and honesty. I don't suppose many other people can say that about a friend. 3 years ago / reply

| imfeduptoo answers: I trust different people in different ways - I trust my son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren in that they would never lie to me, would always help if I had a problem and would never do anything to hurt me.
I trust my 2 brothers to be there for me if I needed them and I trust my two sisters about as far as I can throw them.
I have two female friends whom I could trust almost completely.
I trust my husband completely in things that matter but can't trust him to get everything on the shopping list or remember to put out the wheelie bin.
And I have a male friend who has supported me through good and bad times and would trust him with my life. 3 years ago / reply

| minx_24.nik answers: Yes i trust quite a few people. I pride myself on being a good judge of character so i instinctively know who i can trust and those i cant. I think its very sad when people dont trust others. Having been betrayed and badly treated by people in the past (amongst other things!!) i am happy to say that i still retain the belief that most people are good and can be trusted...well in my life anyway :o) However, it does mean that along the way i have ditched friends/boyfriends for being untrustworthy...it has never been plain sailing. 3 years ago / reply

| Maygs answers: I would say that if you want something done properly then you should do it yourself, but there are some people out there who genuinely have your best interests at heart and would go out of their way to do something for you or to see you happy. Finding that one person or people can be a bit of a hard task, but you do come across them in life and you'll find that most will let you down, but a few simply wont and will always be there. 3 years ago / reply

| Theminxy1 answers: My daughter, implicitly in all things, my sons... well, I wouldn't trust em to do the washing up properly, but in all things pertaining to my welfare and happiness.. without a doubt... and there's a certain other fella that I would trust without question.. But that's it. 3 years ago / reply

| suehayes answers: Those I trust absolutely are: my Mother, Twin, Sisters, Best friend & two very close friends.
Although, having said that I was watching the appalling movie Terminal Velocity & during a death defying rescue scene I quipped to my Twin, "Oh I'd risk life & limb to save you", to which she replied, "Good Luck to you but I'd be off that mountain & in the warm cabin me-self".....So, you never can tell! 3 years ago / reply

| CGA answers: I hold with a very old saying "Trust everybody - but always cut the cards!"
Seriously, I think I feel the same as I think many others do. You can trust almost everyone to behave as you expect - if you trust your own judgement. It then comes down to their character. They may be decent, caring, trustworthy individuals but who may not be very organised and get things wrong. On the other hand they may be selfish & uncaring but you can rely on them entirely to do what is in their own self interest.
For me, I would absolutely trust the caring nature and honesty of my wife and children. I have many friends who I could trust, but not quite to the same degree. 3 years ago / reply
